The men and women of the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff's Station, nearly 175 strong, work tirelessly in a geographic area that encompasses over 180 square miles. Our mission is simple, the protection of life, health and property in a landscape that is as diverse as our population. We can only accomplish these tasks with the assistance of the communities we serve and I am proud to say, our relationships with those communities are strong. Also required is a daring to be different, no fear of criticism, transparency regarding our mistakes, full respect and cooperation with the media, and big ideas.
